On a global level, YGOAL is the Philippine hub for the ASEAN Youth Community - a non-profit organization based in Singapore with operations in Southeast Asia.
Since 2017, YGOAL has been the Philippine Linking and Learning (L&L) Facilitator of VOICE – a grant facility managed by Hivos and Oxfam Novib and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. VOICE L&L implements capacity-building programs for grantee organizations, enabling them to build connections with critical stakeholders in amplifying their advocacies covering Women, Youth, Elderly, Persons with Disabilities, Indigenous Peoples, and the LGBTQIA+ communities.

The Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE), the first and largest grant-making organization for civil society environmental initiatives in the Philippines, chose YGOAL to be their youth engagement partner for its #Youth4Biodiversity (#Y4B) Project. #Y4B mobilizes and engages youth organizations to join the cause and advocate for biodiversity and biodiversity conservation. 55 youth organizations were funded in 2021 under this program. In 2023, the project launched its second phase with a target of 100 youth organizations.
The Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) – a non-profit founded by some of the country’s top CEOs and which works towards the alignment of education and the economy, partnered with YGOAL for various projects aimed at capacitating and helping the youth find meaningful jobs or advance in their careers. These projects include First Future, JobsNext, A Future that Works, and Future Skills Now.
YGOAL, together with YouthLed, a five-year program of The Asia Foundation and USAID that aims to increase civic engagement for strengthened participation in democratic governance, capacitated ten regional youth coalitions on project management and policy lobbying, and co-implemented several local youth assemblies along with three regional youth clusters, for over 300 youth participants.

Local Youth Assemblies (LYAs) are platforms where youth can proactively engage with each other and form networks and coalitions around issues that matter to them. The main goal of LYA is to empower young leaders with different opportunities to develop their competencies and skills and transform their vision into innovative actions.
The Austrian Embassy Manila organized the Austrian Film Month 2021 from May 17 – June 12, 2021, featuring 9 Austrian films that will be available online on certain days for the Filipino public to enjoy, given the quarantine protocols in place. It also provides the viewers the opportunity to experience the creative diversity and cross-border relevance of Austrian cinema. The films deal with diversity, mental health, environment, and democracy, topics relevant to the current situation of the Philippines.
Campfire 2023 is about opening a space to look back to at our inclusion journey, dream together, and have a conversation about building our community moving forward. All Voice grantee partners including the previous cohort joined and participated in rekindling relationships and make deeper connections.
The #Y4B Camp is a four-day learning experience that will gather young indigenous peoples and local community youth volunteers and advocates for the environment in Siargao, Palawan, Aurora, and Northern Samar who are motivated to address issues affecting their communities.
Curating our Inclusion Narrative is a Linking and Learning component that aims to form advocacy messages for the grantees, rightsholders, and the Voice PH community. They were engaged in a creative workshop to craft exhibit pieces or artworks reflecting their lived experiences. YGOAL, Inc. partnered with individual artists to facilitate the creative process. As they embark on this journey, the community will explore various creative formats such as painting, poetry, or other art forms. These art pieces will be curated as an exhibit during the Social Conversation Caravan 2024.
YGOAL, with funding from Voice, organized an online knowledge exchange on the Linking and Learning approach as a pathway to inclusion. The knowledge exchange focuses on the Voice Linking and Learning journey, which looks at linking and learning as an intervention and describes the learning both through the reflections of the teams as well as the words and testimonies of grantees, rightsholders, and other participants from all over the world.
